HI-IQ supports both Microsoft NT 4.0 (or higher) and Novell 3.1 (or higher) networks,
allowing users to store their data on a central, low-cost 'file server'. HI-IQ is
often installed on an existing hospital-maintained server (where, e.g., the existing
IS infrastructure takes care of such things as nightly tape-backup).
